Tokyo Police Club hail from chilly Ontario and are absolutely raw. In many ways, they embody the way music should be played; loud, slightly out of control, and full of quirky memories and obsessions. Their first EP, Lesson in Crime came out in 2006 and although short at about 18 minutes, showcased their unique and completely unfettered pop punk grooves. The foursome's newest album, Champ was released in June and features a more developed sound but with many of the same themes and plenty of rage. Check it!
