Tanlines aren't just another Brooklyn band pumping out TV on the Radioesque sounds. Rather,this blend of electronic samples and funky guitar riffs makes for a unique lo-fi listening experience. Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm have created songs that make you feel like you've been transported to a jungle void, while others such as Bejan and S.A.W. simply make you smile. Their sound and rhythm are totally their own, an infusion of African beats, California attitude, New York swagger, Latin forwardness, its all there. And the best part about them: they let the bass drop, so turn up your sub woofers!
