Phantogram come from Saratoga Springs, a small town in Upstate New York, but their sound is more synonymous with the frenetic streets of New York City. Sarah Barthel and Joshua Carter create hip-hop beat driven synth pop coupled with swirling dreamlike vocals. The duo has been relentless on the festival circuit this year and has played at major events such as Sasquatch Music festival in Washington state. Their new album, Eyelid Movies is a well rounded sonic dream, it's out now from Barsuk Records.
